The Midlands Hub, based in Birmingham requires a Packer to assist in the packing of fruit baskets. This role will be to assist the Regional Manager, in an exciting, fast-growing business. You will be working for the UK’s leading workplace fruit provider. We produce high-quality fruit baskets for companies to provide a healthy work environment for their staff. The Packer will help coordinate the activities required to meet company quality standards and customer expectations, whilst demonstrating the company values and behaviours. You will not need specific experience as full training will be provided, but will need to demonstrate the following personal qualities: • Reliability • Flexibility • “Can do attitude” • Team player • Be punctual • 23.00 pm start Night-Shift • Good eye for quality/attention to detail • Enjoy fruits Benefits of working for us: • You are allowed to take some fruit home each day • Friendly work environment in a successful and growing company • We operate an ongoing, tree-planting programme in Malawi (where deforestation is a big problem): for each basket we deliver to a client, we plant 1 fruit tree. By working for us you will be helping the world environment Due to the nature of our business in providing the freshest possible product to the customer, the role will be initially total 24 hours per week, between Sunday evening to Wednesday morning, between the hours 23.00 pm to 06.00 am as agreed with Regional Manager and depending on needs of the business, but there will be opportunities to earn more hours as the business continues to grow. Pay rate is £12.22 per hour.
